The Problem
Due to Fiber Breakdowns, CB Bank’s Dark Fiber Services & IP Transit Services went down in the second week of September 13th.
Challenge
For this challenge, when the internet lines were cut off simultaneously without any errors from the Service Provider, it may hinder the Bank’s operations.
The Solution
Global Technology was able to restore the lines as soon as possible by using their own reserve internet route. CB Bank’s Dark Fiber was able to quickly recover on the same day of September 13th, 2021, where the Fiber line breakdown started, as the server downtime was only 4 hours and 20 mins. In addition, CB Bank’s IP Transit was also restored within 3 hours from the initial outage period.
CB Bank’s operations were able to resume in a short period of time due to the CB Bank’s trusted ISP, Global Technology’s highly skilled engineers and their advanced infrastructure performed well. CB Bank’s Chief Technical Officer (CTO) himself has expressed his gratitude for being able to resume CB Bank’s operations faster than any other banks as their ISP had not started taking action.
